I want to say thank you
In these last few days I’ve tried to assimilate how intense and beautiful my concerts
were in the Metropolitan theater. How intense and beautiful this moment in my life is
also. Seeing the amazing photographs that I’m going to share with you fills me with
nostalgia, gratefulness and infinite emotion. It’s been a two-year journey with “Hasta la
Raíz.” It is one of the things that has left the greatest mark on my life, and you have
been there to listen to us in concerts, to accompany me in the ritual that is each one of
our shows.
I can’t believe that I’m just a few days aways from closing this cycle with the lineup of
the band that I presently have. Very significant and very intense things are happening
after this. To begin with, my most important artistic and musical support, Gustavo
Guerrero, is leaving my boat to begin to navigate his own craft. From our place we will
say “bon voyage” and ask for light to shine on his path, although my heart is aching as
are all our hearts.
New cycles are beginning such as MUSAS. It fills me with happiness to know that
MUSAS is the next moment with my music, and also that we will be making it with with
new characters who we will meet soon and who will become part of our family.
To you, friends, I can only say that I love you. To be on the stage is like being home. It’s
spiritual, it’s my home, and I adore being able to invite you to each magic moment that
we live together there. I still have some concerts in Cuenca and Lima, and we will close
April 1st in Xalapa. What better place than in my land of Veracruz to say goodbye to this
cycle, and say hello to what’s to come. We’ll see you there. I’ve managed to bring all the
musicians that you saw at the Metropolitan so that it will be very complete and
especially beautiful. I adore them, they know how much I adore them.
Thank you.
